cerebro-backup is a single-user application that copies files from a privately owned network-attached storage device to the operator's own Google Drive account, so that a second copy exists off-site. It is built on rclone and runs unattended on privately owned hardware.
The application is not offered as a product or service to anyone else. It has exactly one user: the operator, who is also the owner of the Google account it accesses. There is no sign-up, no user base, and no third party involved.
cerebro-backup requests access to Google Drive solely in order to upload and update the operator's own files. It does not read, transmit, or share data belonging to any other person. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is accessed and why.
